Privacy policy.

This English version is provided for convenience only. The French version of this Privacy Policy is the legally binding one. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Introduction

Stelliverse is a French translation application for Star Citizen. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data.

The data controller is the publisher of Stelliverse (Drrakendu78), identified in the legal notice. For any question about your data, contact us on Discord: drrakendu78.

Data we collect

Stelliverse can be used entirely without an account. No account data is collected as long as you do not sign in. Signing in is optional and is done through Discord only. We then receive:

  • Discord ID: used as the unique identifier of your account
  • Discord username: your username, for display purposes
  • Discord avatar: to display your account
  • Content you share: ship lists (shared or linked hangar) and blueprints, associated with your Discord ID and your username

No email address is collected, received or stored. Signing in with Discord only passes us your ID, your username and your avatar — never your email.

No device identifier (HWID) is collected. Stelliverse neither generates nor transmits any hardware fingerprint of your computer.

Legal basis: the processing of account, cloud backup and hangar data relies on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you sign in. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account from within the application.

Importing your hangar from Roberts Space Industries (RSI)

The “My RSI hangar” feature retrieves the list of your ships from your Roberts Space Industries account.

Your RSI password is never seen, transmitted or stored by Stelliverse: you sign in yourself on the official robertsspaceindustries.com website, in a dedicated window.

Once you are signed in, the application reads the session cookies stored locally on your computer, only for as long as it takes to query your hangar (“pledges”) pages on the RSI servers. These cookies never leave your device and are not passed on to any third party, including us.

Only the ship names in your hangar are extracted. No other element of your RSI account (password, email, personal data, payment methods) is read or retained.

The resulting list stays local. It is only saved with our host (Supabase) if you choose to share your hangar via a link or to link it to your account — in which case only the ship list and your Discord username are stored.

Voice commands

Stelliverse offers voice commands (System → Voice commands page) that press the Star Citizen key matching the recognized command. The feature is disabled by default (status Stopped shown at the top of the page) and must be enabled manually.

  • Legal basis: explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
  • 100% local processing with Vosk FR (recognition) and Piper (synthesis), open-source engines bundled inside the application. Nothing is sent to Stelliverse, to a cloud server or to a third party
  • No audio recording: the microphone stream is processed in real time then immediately discarded. What Vosk hears is displayed in plain text on screen for complete transparency
  • No biometric identification: Stelliverse does not build a voiceprint and does not identify you by your voice
  • Visual indicator: a Status: Listening / Stopped badge and a Last heard readout remain visible at all times while the feature is in use
  • Activation: the “Always listening” toggle at the top of the System → Voice commands page
  • Instant cut-off: a configurable mic-mute shortcut (keyboard key or mouse button, 2 / ` by default), which works even when Star Citizen is in the foreground
  • System-level cut-off: revoke the microphone permission in your Windows settings at any time
  • Surroundings: while voice commands are active, the microphone may pick up sounds from your surroundings. It is your responsibility to inform anyone present

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Back up your bindings (key configurations)
  • Back up your character preferences
  • Back up your application settings
  • Back up your game configuration files

We do not sell, share or use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data storage

Your data is hosted by Supabase, on servers located in the European Union (Ireland, eu-west-1). No transfer outside the European Union takes place.

The data is:

  • Encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
  • Stored on secure servers
  • Accessible only by you, through your account

Data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Ireland). No personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA for storage.

In the interest of transparency, here are all the third-party services that Stelliverse may contact, what is sent to them, when, and how to opt out. Unless stated otherwise, “data sent: IP address only” means that no personal data is transmitted beyond your IP address — unavoidable as soon as a website is contacted, just like during a normal web visit.

100% local (no network request). Voice, voice commands, flight log / Game.log, characters, bindings, SC cache, overlay and Companion (local Wi-Fi) run entirely on your machine. Zero telemetry, zero trackers, zero ads.

Administrator privileges

Stelliverse does not require any administrator privileges and runs with standard user rights. The application does not change your device's system settings and does not collect any information at that access level.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data at any time:

Stelliverse is operated from France, and personal data is processed in the European Union. Wherever you live, the rights below are granted to all users.

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of the data concerning you;
  • Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data;
  • Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data;
  • Right to restriction: request the temporary suspension of the processing of your data;
  • Right to data portability: retrieve your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Right to object / to withdraw consent: stop using the cloud features — you can also delete your shared hangar, your backups and your account directly from the application.

To exercise these rights, contact us on Discord: drrakendu78. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) if you believe your rights are not being respected.

If you are in the EU/EEA, these rights arise from the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679); if you are in the United Kingdom, from the UK GDPR. You may lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with the data protection authority of your own country.

Retention period: your data is kept for as long as your account is active, then deleted on request or when the account is deleted.

Automated decision-making: no solely automated decision-making or profiling producing legal effects is carried out on the basis of your data.

Deleting your account

To delete your account and all the associated data, you can:

  • From within the application: go to Cloud Backup → My account → Danger zone, then click “Delete my account”

Warning: this action is irreversible. All your data and backups will be permanently deleted.

Cookies and website

This website (stelliverse.fr) does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Only local preferences (such as the changelog cache) are stored in your browser via localStorage.
