Stelliverse is an independent, source-available community project dedicated to the Star Citizen universe.

This legal notice is published pursuant to Article 6-III of French Act No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN).

Independent project

Stelliverse is an independent community project. It is neither affiliated with, associated with, nor endorsed by Cloud Imperium Games® or Star Citizen®.

Star Citizen®, RSI®, Roberts Space Industries®, along with all related trademarks, logos, names and content, belong to their respective owners.

How the application works

Stelliverse is an external community tool that brings together various features useful around Star Citizen.

The application:

  • does not modify any of the game's system files
  • does not inject any code into the game
  • does not bypass any protection
  • does not alter gameplay
  • does not carry out any unauthorized interaction with the game servers

The features provided rely solely on:

  • local user files
  • personal configurations
  • public APIs
  • publicly accessible community services

Stelliverse is not cheating software, a cheat, an injector or a tool for exploiting the game.

Personal data

Stelliverse can be used entirely without creating an account.

Personal data is collected only if the user chooses to use the optional cloud backup and synchronization features.

Sign-in is handled exclusively through Discord. The data that may be collected:

  • Discord ID (unique account identifier)
  • username
  • Discord avatar

No email address is collected or received: the Discord sign-in transmits only the ID, the username and the avatar.

This data is used exclusively for:

  • cloud backup
  • synchronizing preferences
  • restoring user configurations

No data is sold, rented, shared or used for advertising or marketing purposes.

Access and deletion rights can be exercised through support (Discord or email below).

Data storage

Data is stored securely via Supabase.

The data:

  • is encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
  • is stored on secure servers
  • remains primarily accessible to the user through their account

Some data may be accessed by the administrator solely for the purposes of technical support or service maintenance.

Cookies & tracking

The stelliverse.fr website uses:

  • no advertising cookies
  • no marketing trackers
  • no third-party analytics
  • no user profiling system

Some local preferences may be stored in the browser via localStorage in order to improve the user experience.

Certain third-party platforms such as Discord, GitLab or the operating system may collect their own technical data independently of Stelliverse.

External links & partners

Stelliverse may contain:

  • links to third-party websites
  • Discord communities
  • content creators
  • community tools
  • partners or sponsors

The project publisher cannot be held responsible for the content, the services or the privacy policies of these external platforms.

Source code & license

Stelliverse's source code is published on GitLab for the sake of transparency: anyone can read and audit it.

It is distributed under the PolyForm Strict License 1.0.0. This is a source-available license, not an open-source license in the OSI sense: viewing and auditing the code is allowed, but redistribution, forks, derivative works and commercial use are not. The full license text is available here.

  • French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, known as the "Informatique et Libertés" Act

users have the following rights:

  • erasure of their data

The supervisory authority is the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés, France) — cnil.fr. If you reside in another EU/EEA country, you may also lodge a complaint with your own national data protection authority.

Account deletion

To delete your account and the associated data:

From the application: Sauvegarde Cloud → Mon compte → Zone de danger → Supprimer mon compte (Cloud Backup → My account → Danger zone → Delete my account)
